Michaela Crowe, the daughter of Kurt Crowe and Mary Beth Crowe has been selected as the 2017 Princeton High School DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Good Citizen Award Winner.  Michaela was selected by the faculty and students at Princeton High School based on the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

Throughout high school Michaela has been involved in student council, class officer, National Honor Society, Tiny Tigers, Madrigals, Star Spangled Singers, and Year One.  Michaela has put in many volunteer hours at St. Louis Catholic Church and has gone on a mission trip to Nashville to help those people in need.  Her plans after graduating PHS are to attend Illinois State University to major in psychology in hopes of becoming a child psychologist.  Michaela has submitted her written requirements to the local DAR chapter where a Bureau County winner will be chosen to advance.  Additionally, Michaela will be honored at an upcoming luncheon banquet.
