The PHS team of Alec Maish, Albert Sadiku, Brett Schenck, and Zakk Welsh took 1st place on 10/14/16 at the Regional Junior Achievement Titan Competition held at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon. They were sponsored by AgView FS and Central Bank. Mentoring the team to victory was Rick Clary of Princeton Central Bank. A special thank you to Tommy Fehlhafer of Munson Hybrids for working with the economics class prior to the competition. They will advance to the final scholarship round to be held on November 16, 2016 in Davenport where they will have the chance to earn monetary scholarships for demonstrating strong business decision-making skills on an online simulated competitive market.
