Congratulations to Camryn Driscoll, Riley Rauh, and Elin Workman for being selected to participate in Senator Li Arellano’s Youth Advisory Council. The meeting was held at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon.
During the event, students heard from a range of speakers, including Matt DeBaene, Karla Belzer, and Patrick McBride. They took part in meaningful discussions about public policy, focusing on issues relevant to today’s youth. Participants also proposed new legislation and will have the opportunity to participate in a mock hearing at the state capitol in Springfield during the spring semester.
