Cole Wright, the son of Todd and Joann Wright has been selected as the 2016 Princeton High School DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Good Citizen Award Winner.

Cole was selected by the faculty and students at Princeton High School based on the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

Throughout high school Cole has been involved in leadership of the local Future Farmers of America Chapter, German Club, Ignition, and Engineering Club.  Cole has volunteered for a variety of community organizations including Boyd’s Grove United Methodist Church, the Tiskilwa Historical Society, and the Farm Bureau as a Young Leader. His plans include attending Black Hawk Community College and then transferring to a university to earn a degree in an agricultural related field.

Cole has submitted his written requirements to the local DAR chapter where a Bureau County winner will be chosen to advance.  Additionally, Cole will be honored at an upcoming luncheon banquet.
