Princeton High School announces Newest Member of the Academic and Career Hall of Fame
Princeton High School has selected Dr. Mary Bouxsein to the Academic and Career Hall of Fame. Dr. Bouxsein will be honored on Friday, September 7th during a ceremony in which she will address the student body.
Dr. Bouxsein graduated from Princeton High School in 1982. After high school, she received her Bachelor of Science in General Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois and her Masters of Science and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Dr. Bouxsein has served as a faculty member at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School.
Throughout her career: Dr. Bouxsein has received numerous academic honors, authored or co-authored over 250 articles and papers, held numerous leadership roles in her profession, and been very active in her community. Dr. Bouxsein currently resides in Somerville, MA.
