For the second consecutive year, a team from Princeton High School has taken first place at the Regional Junior Achievement Titan competition held at Sauk Valley Community College on October 27th. This year’s team consists of Alec Johnson, Nolan Hunt, Zach Bohms, and Zakk Welsh. The team was sponsored by Central Bank in Princeton and mentored during the competition by Rick Clary of Central Bank. The team would also like to thank Tommy Fehlhafer of Munson Hybrids for his work with the economics class prior to competition. The team will move on to the scholarship round at Palmer College in Davenport on November 15th, where they will compete for scholarship money for demonstrating business acumen through an online market simulation.
